There just aren't that many people to choose from on a herpes dating site

The largest of these site Positive Singles has around 70,000 registered users. But that is the number of REGISTERED users. The number of active users is actually much smaller. You will find many profiles on these sites from people who have not logged on for years. Also, if you consider that all of the active users are spread across the country you end up with only a handful of people who live nearby. If you do not live near a major city you are going to find it very difficult to find someone.

It is difficult to tell if someone is going to click with you by just looking at their profile

Here is what I mean. Lets say that you meet someone at work who you find attractive. It is very easy to interact with this person throughout the day and observe their personality. If you spend time with them it is very easy to tell if they are funny, romantic, thoughtful, witty or whatever other quality you find attractive. This is impossible to do on a dating site and is the biggest drawback to dating online. You are forced to screen people on dating sites using qualities such as race, income, religion, height, hair color, body type, and education. These qualities are really of no use in determining whether someone is going to be compatible with you.

Herpes dating sites are really no more effective than any other way of meeting people

The following table lists the most common ways of meeting someone.

Now you can see you are 25 times more likely to meet someone at work, at school, or through friends and family than you are by using a herpes dating site
