I have been suffering from constant vaginal irritation for the last 12 months. I have tried valtrex and many natural/homeopathic remedies. I am at a loss ... does herpes really cause constant irritation?
Thank you

Herpes could cause vaginal irritation. Genital herpes could cause a burning, itching or tingling feeling. Vaginal irritation might not always be caused by genital herpes. If you feel your experiencing symptoms of herpes you may want to ask your doctor about Acyclovir. Valtrex may not work for everyone. It isn't uncommon to experience symptoms of herpes even while taking medication. Medication often reduces the symptoms of genital herpes. Herpes usually doesn't cause constant vaginal irritation for 12 months.

Eating healthy, exercising, not smoking, avoiding stress and living healthy reduce the chance of getting genital herpes outbreaks. If you have another question let us know.
